What happens after the 14-day trial?

You add a payment method when you sign up — you're only charged after the 14 days end. If gastrotodo isn't the right fit for your business, you cancel within the trial in one click and nothing is billed.

Do I need new hardware or tablets?

Accepted Answer

No. Team members who want to use their own smartphone can do so (iOS or Android). For shared devices, kiosk mode works on any standard tablet — you don't need to buy anything gastrotodo-specific.

Does every team member need their own email address?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each team member needs their own email address — it's their login and the basis for personalized documentation: HACCP tasks, mandatory briefings and photo evidence are assigned unambiguously to one person. On a shared tablet in kiosk mode, a tap on the name is still enough — the login happens in the background.

Which languages does the app support?

German, English, Turkish, Polish, Russian and more. Every team member picks their own language — you maintain processes once in German and your team sees them automatically in their language.

What if my team isn't very tech-savvy?

Accepted Answer

gastrotodo is built for daily shift work — no training, no separate login, one task at a time. Most teams are fully digital after 2–3 shifts. If you need it, we'll walk your team through the app once for free at the start.

Question 7

Does the HACCP record meet inspection requirements?

Accepted Answer

Every HACCP-relevant task is documented with a timestamp, the responsible person and — if you configure it that way — photo evidence and a signature. At an inspection you export the complete record as a PDF with one click. During setup we go through your specific HACCP plan together.

Are mandatory hygiene briefings documented in an audit-proof way?

Briefings are recorded per person with a read confirmation and date, and automatically rescheduled for the next due cycle. You export the proof per person or for the whole team — for inspections or for the personnel file.

What happens to my data?

Accepted Answer

All data is stored on servers in Germany and processed in line with GDPR. Your data belongs to you and can be deleted in full at any time — directly in the app settings or by emailing support@gastrotodo.de.

Does it work for multiple sites or franchise chains?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sites are managed centrally — maintain routines, training and briefings once and they roll out to every location automatically. In the multi-site comparison you see completion rates, incidents and HACCP gaps per location, side by side.

Who sets up the system? How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Your first checklists are ready in 5–10 minutes. For more complex setups — multiple sites, custom HACCP plans, existing templates — we'll guide you through setup for free. A 30-minute call is usually enough to go fully digital.
